Languages collide and mingle in the new land. Composer Jos Janssen set the poems of the famous Sundanese author Ajip Rosidi to wonderful electronic 5.1 surround sound. Sundanese journalist and editor Hawé Setiawan spoke with Rosidi and Sundanese / Dutch art historian Alit Djajasoebrata - who translated the poems into Dutch - about language, decolonization and alienation from the mother tongue.
